Well, we sent the Audrey and the Thomas off on a shuttle bus this morning, headed on their way to AZ. I actually had mixed feelings- part of me was kind of sad because I will miss my little girl for a few days! I didn't anticipate that- this is the longest I will have been away from her ever. So far I am kind of liking the freedom I have though... My house is almost clean! I might even clean the bathrooms tomorrow... It's been a long time since my house had a good, top-to-bottom cleaning. I like it! My poor Ethan is still very grumpy. But we are watching old Stargate episodes and Cosby show episodes and doing a little ironing when the opportunity presents itself. We might get adventurous and take a walk this evening to fetch the mail.
Thomas just texted me and said they made it to the airport but their flight is delayed about an hour. He also said Audrey hasn't napped but she is doing just great- having so much fun with Daddy. I'm excited for grandparents to see her and enjoy her cuteness. In the meantime, the Ben & Jerry's hidden in the freezer is calling to me... :)
We watched a lot of Stargate episodes after Jacob was born and it seemed like I was nursing all the time. :) Have some fun time to yourself with half your family gone.
