Saturday is a special day

I am so glad that Daddy is good at putting the boy to sleep. It makes having two hands for blogging a whole lot easier. :D

Weekends are glorious. :)

Today I learned how to take care of a bumblebee nest. We have one under our house, since we live in a trailer and all. I learned that bumblebees are nice as long as you don't go poking around in their houses. They never build a nest in the same spot every spring, so next spring they won't come back. I learned that the new queen goes off to hibernate elsewhere and leaves the drones/worker bees to die in the nest during winter. Then she builds a new nest and workers and stuff in spring. So I don't think we will have a problem, since it's not a place that anybody can get to and bother it right now. It makes Thomas' to-do list shorter for today! :)

I'm off to go polish up plans for the Children's Sacrament Meeting Program I'm in Charge of. It's not happening til mid-November. I'm scared, well, excited AND scared.

  1. WOOHOO! I'm doing that, too! I'm the primary chorister, and we're totally gearing up for a November program!
I like the trivia about bees. That's cool!
